4-H’ers, regardless of their background, socio-economic status, race or gender, benefit from their participation in Kentucky 4-H. Positive youth development studies have affirmed that compared to other youth, young people involved in 4-H are:
- Four times more likely to contribute to their communities.
- Two times more likely to be civically active.
- Two times more likely to make healthier lifestyle choices.
- Two times more likely to participate in Science, Engineering and Computer Technology programs during out-of-school time.
- 4-H girls are two times more likely (Grade 10) and nearly three times more likely (Grade 12) to take part in science programs compared to girls in other out-of-school time activities.
What's Going On?
Express yourself in different ways in Art Club! Club members will choose a few projects to complete at the beginning the year, and they will be able to turn these projects into the State Fair!

In Horticulture Club, we will learn how to care for gardens as well as house plants. We will grow different vegetables and flowers, and hold a plant sale in the Spring!

Youth can show, judge, and learn about sheep, goats, pigs and cattle. Participate in contests, shows, and fairs all year. You do not have to own livestock to be in this club!

Join Sewing Club for all fun projects! Practice sewing skills, enter projects into
the State Fair and contribute in community service!
Youth can learn to sew and show off their creations at the fair and fashion revue!

Teen club is all about teamwork and leadership! Join us for leadership and team building activities within Graves County and surrounding areas! This is for ages 11-18.
